BREAST THERMOGRAPHY
Breast thermography is a thermal imaging procedure used as an assessment of breast health. Thermography measures the infrared radiation (heat) which is constantly radiating (emitting) away from the surface of our skin. Skin as an organ breathes, exchanges gases with the environment, both cools us and keeps us warm by letting heat out or keeping it in depending on what we need by controlling the amount of circulation, or blood flow, in the skin. This automatic regulation is done without any conscious thought and is controlled by the autonomic nervous system via the sympathetics.
Breast thermography is an excellent option for women of all ages, shapes, and sizes including younger women who may have denser breast tissue, women with fibrocystic breasts, and women who have breast implants.
Breast Thermography provides you with valuable baseline information which can help evaluate your future breast health and potential risk factors.
Breast Thermography is one of the best early detection and health check systems available today without many of the risks associated with mammograms. The advantages of early assessment of risk factors can be potentially life-saving!
